| The PADI Rescue Diver Course will help increase your awareness of diver safety and develop your abilities to anticipate and prevent problems, as well as managing them.
It also teaches you rescue techniques and diving first aid, prepare you to manage emergency situations and expand your diver awareness in preparation for leadership training.
The course is run over 1 weekend and includes 5 knowledge development sessions, 5 in-water training workshops and 4 Open Water Dive Accident Scenarios.
The course yeaches you techniques for self-rescue, dealing with a panicked or tired diver, and how to respond to a diver both responsive and unresponsive over and under the water. You will learn how to respond to a variety of diver emergencies and skills for dealing with them.
The course costs Euro 410 including all materials, tuition, dives and equipment.

If you do not have a first aid qualification you may also need to do the Emergency First Response primary and secondary first aid course that also includes AED (defibrillator) and Oxygen use. This course is always run in conjunction with the Rescue diver course and costs E105.
