Gordon Ramsay, famous chef from the F Word and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares series, recently visited Ballyvaughan to dive with Burren Adventures and make an episode of the F Word.
Gordon arrived into Ballyvaughan harbour in a sea plane and then dived our famous drift dive, which gave him a real buzz!
Later he dived a site further down on the Flaggy Shore (now re-named Ramsay Reef!) to get edible sea urchins, which he cooked the next morning at the Galway market.
Gordon's production crew chose Burren Adventures because of our training level, professionalism and great diving. Both Gordon and his crew promised to be back.
The show aired on Channel 4 on May 13th.
